Resurrector will reflash radio’s boot zone and will re-write PDA’s SPL to 1.04.0000 version. Additionally to SPL and Radio zones, the zone which contains Model ID is re-flashed too. Thus after resurrection phone will have Model ID = ‘PH06*****’.

To resurrect HTC ChaCha:

• Solder JTAG cable to HTC ChaCha JTAG pads;
• Insert USB Data cable into board and PC;
• Make sure HTC ChaCha is selected in the list of models;
• If you use battery, press Power On key;
• Click Resurrect button;
• Wait till software signals a successful operation completion;
• Disconnect power supply, de-solder JTAG wires;

Repairing bricked LG P970 is easy with the RIFF Box. But it requires non-beginner soldering skills (since JTAG pads on board are very small and are close to each other).
Please note, it may be possible that on alive phone there will be problem detecting eMMC chip – in this case you will get “WARNING: DCC Loader was unable to initialize FLASH1 chip. Error code: 0x00FF8080” error. The solution is to connect the phone in a following way:

De-power the phone and disconnect USB cable (if any);
Attach battery but do not press Power On button yet; thus, though with battery attached, phone remains de-powered;
Click Resurrect (or DCC Read/Write page’s Read/Write) button – depends on operation you need to perform;
Now you have to be quick: while software tries to connect to the still de-powered phone, quickly press Power On button on the phone (or supply power to the phone in any other possible way).
It must detect eMMC without error and from now on until phone is de-powered you can perform any read/write operations you need.

To resurrect LG P970:

• Solder JTAG cable to LG P970 JTAG pads;
• Insert USB Data cable into board and PC;
• Make sure LG P970 is selected in the list of models;
• Click Resurrect button;
• Wait till software signals a successful operation completion;
• Disconnect power supply, de-solder JTAG wires;

Now phone is in bootable condition, that is, even if it does not start up normally, you can flash it using known flashing methods.

Repairing bricked HTC Flyer4G (PG4130000) is easy with the RIFF Box. Phone is auto powered on with USB Data Cable connected to the PC while battery is connected. Please note, battery presense is required.
Some (or all) revisions of HTC Flyer4G (PG4130000) boards have JTAG interface disabled (that is enable MARM JTAG Fuse is blown in the MSM chip). In this case the JTAG may be enabled only by firmware itself. This is done by the DBL loader, so if DBL area is damanged and MCU has JTAG Disable FUSE blown then there is no way to resurrect your phone via JTAG interface. However, in this case you may use HTC Flyer4G (PG4130000) USB DLL version which does not require JTAG interface and does resurrection procedure via USB cable.
Resurrector will reflash radio’s boot zone (except DBL area) and will re-write PDA’s SPL to 1.14.0001 version. Additionally to SPL and Radio zones, the zone which contains Model ID is re-flashed too. Thus after resurrection phone will have Model ID = ‘PG413****’.

To resurrect HTC Flyer:

• Solder JTAG cable to HTC Flyer JTAG pads;
• Insert battery and connect USB Data cable;
• Make sure HTC Flyer4G (PG4130000) is selected in the list of models;
• If you use only battery, press Power On key;
• Click Resurrect button;
• Wait till software signals a successful operation completion;
• Disconnect power supply, de-solder JTAG wires;

Now phone is in bootable condition, that is, even if it does not start up normally you can flash it using known flashing methods. You can use CWM recovery to flash any ZIP file – for this during resurrection add BOOT & RECOVERY zones to be resurrected too.

To enter download mode:

• Disconnect PC cable;
• Insert battery;
• Hold ‘Volume Down’ key and press ‘Power ON’ button.

Resurrecting HTC WildFireS CDMA is easy with RIFF Box. Phone is auto powered on with USB Data Cable connected to the PC. Battery presence is not required; connection can be established with detached board.
In case you have no USB cable near, make sure battery is charged enough and hold Power On button during initiation of JTAG connection.
Resurrector will reflash radio’s boot zone and will re-write PDA’s SPL to 1.09.0000 (for NAND chips with 4Kb page size). Additionally to SPL and Radio zones, the zone which contains Model ID is re-flashed too. Thus after resurrection phone will have Model ID = ‘PG7620000’. Additionally, you can check ‘Repair RECOVERY zones’ to reflash android BOOT and RECOVERY code.

To resurrect HTC WildFireS CDMA:

• Solder JTAG cable to HTC WildFireS CDMA JTAG pads;
• Insert USB Data cable into board and PC;
• Make sure HTC WildFireS CDMA is selected in the list of models;
• If you use battery, press Power On key;
• Click Resurrect button;
• Wait till software signals a successful operation completion;

Resurrector will reflash radio’s boot zone and will re-write PDA’s HBOOT version 1.21.0001. Additionally, the zone which contains Model ID is re-flashed too. Thus after resurrection phone will have Model ID = ‘PG5811000’.

There is option to reflash BOOT and RECOVERY zones.

To resurrect HTC Sensation (PG5811000):

• Solder JTAG cable to HTC Sensation (PG5811000) JTAG pads;
• Insert batter and connect USB Data cable;
• Make sure HTC Sensation (PG5811000) is selected in the list of models;
• If you use only battery, press Power On key;
• Click Resurrect button;
• Wait till software signals a successful operation completion;
• Disconnect power supply, de-solder JTAG wires;

Now phone is in bootable condition, that is, even if it does not start up normally you can flash it using known flashing methods.
