Note que hay una actualizacion 4.0.4 para el galaxy epic 4g d700
y me encantaria poder tener esa vercion muy llamatiba
pero tengo miedo a matar mi celular, ya mate uno anteriolmente. por eso hice ese post para no perder otro mas u_u

Download CM9 and gapps-ics zips and put in /sdcard

Before you Install CM9: Preparation

Install AppBak from Market, run it and save a list of all your apps.
Install SMS Backup and Restore from Market, run it and backup your SMS history.
Install Call Logs Backup and Restore from Market, run it and backup your call log history.
Boot into CWM5 recovery. Make a full Backup. You will need this backup later if you decide to go back to your previous ROM and data.

Wipe Everything
WARNING: Currently CM9 does not tolerate CM7 or other /data. Many apps will Force Close crash if you restore data from a previous ROM.

Install

Use CWM5. ACSRecovery is reported to cause broken CM9 installations.
Wipe everything.
Flash update*.zip.
Flash gapps*.zip.
Reboot phone
After you setup your Google account, reinstall the three apps from Market in order to restore most of your apps, call log and SMS history.
Warning: Do not restore backup data of system apps!
If you restore a bad backup with cached settings in telephony.db in data/data/com.*.*.telephony it can break MMS.
It seems that restoring backups can also break Calendar sync.

Que es lo que no entiendes amigo? esta completamente explicado.

Lo primero es bajarse todos los archivos necesarios:

- El Clock work mode 5 ( CWM).
- Flash update*.zip.
- Y Flash gapps*.zip.

Ahora yo te recomiendo esto: formatea tu memoria Sd, bueno ya formateada, mete los 3 archivos que descargaste antes.

- Instala el CWM mediante el recovery de tu cel.

- Una vez instalado el CWM, inicia tu cel en modo recovery, notaras que ha cambiado y ahora aparece el recovery del cwm 5 en el cual aparecen estas opciones:

- reboot system now.
- apply update from sdcard.
- wipe data/factory reset.
- wipe cache partition.
- install zip from sd card.
- backup and restore.
- mounts an storage.
- advanced.
- power of.

- Bueno aqui lo que haras sera seleccionar la opcion wipe data/factory reset y darle Yes, lo mismo con wipe cache partition.

- Seleccionar la opcion advanced/ wipe dalvick cache y lo mismo darle Yes.

- Ahora te vas a la opcion que dice install zip from sdcard, se abre un submenu, ahi selecciona la opcion: chose zip from sdcard.

- Busca el archivo Flash update*.zip. lo seleccionas y le das en Yes, y asi mismo con el archivo - Y Flash gapps*.zip.

Espera a que instale,te regresas al menu principal del recovery y presiona reboot system now.

- Y listo, la primera vez tardara en encender, pero es normal por que carga el sistema por primera vez, una vez que encienda te recomiendo reiniciarlo y veras que jala al 100.
